Very charming, rustic and authentic-super comfortable beds (adjustable) and a pillow "bar" where you can select the type of pillow you would prefer. This little inn has quite the history, chat up the owners and they will explain it's many transformations. The courtyard is quaint, romantic and overflowing with fresh herbs, berries and flowers all of which are incorporated into their delicious menu. The innkeepers and their staff are friendly and welcoming. Meissen is a step back in time, explore the fantastic schloss nearby, soak up the history, stop off at one of many cafes and unwind.
The rooms could be redecorated a tad, new drapes and towels perhaps, but to change too many other elements would plunge it into another generic hotel.

The hotel's location was quite convenient, as it was close to the city center and some rooms provided breath-taking views. breakfast was fantastic with excellent options.
The shower in our room did not have a proper door, only a curtain.

The location of the hotel was ideal for exploring different sights within walking distance. the staff provided additional information that helped enhance our trip. The breakfast was very good and offered a nice selection to choose from.
The parking on the premises was very limited and somewhat difficult to navigate. the room could have been more soundproof as some of the outside noise could be heard.

Dinner at the restaurant. Fairly tasty & good service. Children-friendly atomosphere. Range of choice for organic(BIO) foods.
Not the best clealiness, especially at kitchen & bathroom. Some leakage at hand-washing basin. Limited capacity of hot water.

We had an amazing weekend at this hotel. the location was the perfect starting point for exploring the city. the secure parking and easy walking distance made our stay so manageable. the three-course evening meals were delectable, and the staff was accommodating to switch out sides to our liking. the vintage motorcycle exhibition close by was the highlight of our trip.
Although the room was charming, the shower was inconvenient with a curtain instead of a door. Despite this, the positive experiences and the hearty breakfast made up for it.

I recently stayed at a 4-star hotel and had a fantastic experience. The location of this place was ideal as it was reasonably close to the center and provided beautiful views overlooking the town. The staff members were friendly and professional, providing excellent service at the reception desk and in the restaurant. The rooms were comfortable and well-equipped, with amenities like ironing facilities, heating, and tea and coffee facilities. The free Wi-Fi in the rooms was a bonus, allowing me to stay connected during my stay. The hotel also had a lovely terrace and garden area where I could relax and enjoy the surroundings.
I would highly recommend this hotel to everyone.

I loved how this hotel had free parking and was located on top of the hill overlooking the city center, meaning I could easily walk to all the attractions. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, and the breakfast was excellent - I especially enjoyed the variety of choices available.
No issues.
